I theorise that I can feed 5000 people.
Not on two loaves and five fish (or whatever it was), but on just ONE SLICE OF BREAD.
Does this mean I am Jesus?

I would do it by giving them a crumb each.
All in good humour, no offence meant.

Meanwhile I would satisfy their hunger by giving them food for the MIND, as the body is just the home of the mind.
In theory, it could be done very easily.

Retro, I think that Rich hit the nail squarely on the head. The story of Jesus beginning with a few peices of fish and a few loaves of bread was following the parable of the story "Rock Soup". As each person went by the pot, they found a scrap of food to add to the stew. By the time the stew was ready to eat, there was PLENTY for ALL to eat and no one went away hungry. I'm sure that more than a few at that gathering knew about the edible wild [plants that were growing in the area, harvested some and added those to the stew as well. A few dozen peices of dried fish added provides plenty of protein and the next thing you know, there's a fest for all with leftovers to boot. The miracle was NOT being aboe to feed the thousands in attendance, the miracle was getting folks to give up what little they were hoarding to make a meal that was TRULY able to feed the entire crowd in attendance. To ME, that's the greatest miracle of all!

In all reality, you could make 5000 crumbs from one slice of bread but it would not FEED the 5000 people. You would only being giving them a piece of the bread, not FEEDING them. Jesus FED the people, meaning they all had a large amount of bread and a whole fish. This made them full after eating it. He actually created more bread and fish as it was being passed out from the baskets. The baskets never emptied nor had less bread and fish in them as the food was being passed out to everyone. That's why it was a miracle!!
You can't perform miracles. Only God can. People that do miracles have the help of God, not just themselves.

In theory, your theory is flawed. Christ fed everyone so that they were well satisfied. That means full. Plus the disciples gathered back 12 baskets full of leftovers. Hmmm - even if you could do THAT, you would still not be Christ. For Satan will be sent to deceive many and will mimick the miracles that Christ performed while He was here. Test the spirits in all things.

Because of you could not do this, 5000 good people did not appeared so you are not Jesus. But if there are many people think like you. Our world is livable.

A crumb a day keeps the hunger away?
I don't think so.

Why not plant the slices of bread and grow a bread tree? If Jesus was really magic he'd have made a tree that could grow bread.

I would use the slice of bread to go fishing, then use the little fish as dead-bait for the bigger fish.
