Who is the idiot that came up with this idea? My "solid clear stick" isn't being carried at the grocery store I shop at anymore, so I'm looking for another. Does anyone really enjoy walking around with your arms in the air waiting for this goo to dry? What a stupid idea! Again, WHO DECIDED THAT THIS WAS A GOOD IDEA!!!!!!!

I agree - that is no place for gel - the 'invisible solid' is the way to go.
I would suggest contacting your grocery store and voicing (in a tactful way) your concern. Talk to the manager of the department and the store. Most stores - speaking from experience - don't get much feedback from customers when they're carrying the product that people like, but make a change . . . let the fireworks begin.
More often than not, the store will try to make available the products that their customers want and will buy - it is a business.
Otherwise, off to another store.
