To a Christian the exsistance of "a creator" is certain. Life is filled with hope. It's hard to explain to someone who does not believe in God the true sence of peace and joy you feel from being a Christian. From knowing that no matter how much you sqrew up, there's someone that loves you no matter what. Even when our earthly parents let you down, our father is always there to carry us. Well anyway, I am a Jesus Freak so, please excuse my ranting. :)

It would cut out the need for this sort of question.
Al;though a Christian believes ans is certain that there is a God they can not prove it nor should they try to.
As a Christian I have over many years met people who can "prove" God's existence. they then go off into a long rambling story which goes nowhere near proof. We have a faith and belief not provable certainty and some Christians do themselves and the faith a disservice if they refuse to admit that. As a Christian I hope I do not unconciously fall into that particular trap.

Like the present, all things are pointed to the fact that there is a creator, yet many people still deny it.
Like the Isrealites in the old times, did they not see miracles, yet they wandered in the wilderness for 40 years because of the hardness of their hearts.

Do you think that :
Where did the teaching in your Bible come from?
Who did the Bible?
How old is the Bible.
That means the Bible has 2007 years of age.
Christianity teach people who believed do the good things. Eventhough there is no Christianity in the world, there will be have the other religion replace him and the world may be in peace than this I don't know. Do you believe that God is certain now?

It would be very difficult! And free will would be non-existent because we would have to do exactly what the creator tells us to, for fear of eternal punishment.

My transition from theist to atheist didn't change my life in a significant way, except that now my perspective on things is different and whenever I want something, I don't pray--I know that it's all upto me.

By very definition it cannot be certain.
A Creator within our human understanding would be less than us, therefore no REAL Creator.
But you can KNOW!

Different because you would only believe same way Thomas did.
Better to believe without seeing that way God would know your faith was real.
