To enhance hamburger patties without having any specific herb or spice flavor add . . . . salt and pepper. The quality of the meat impacts the flavor more than spices. Buy from a butcher you can trust.

There's a powered onion soup mix that some people add to raw hamburger meat. It adds a savory flavor to cooked burgers. Maybe one packet for 2 pounds of beef, I'd say.
Or, try mixing some A-1 steak sauce into the raw meat. Just a little, or it will make the meat stop sticking together.
Or packaged taco seasoning for a mexi-burger.
Use your imagination. There are a lot of cheap ways to make plain food more fun and tasty.

If you like spicy you could add some cayenne pepper or a few dashes of hot sauce.
