I've shifted from track distance running to road running. I'm just curious if what i've been doin' on track is applicable on roads, especially the drills(high knee, A skip, B skip, One leg jump, buttkickers jump, karaoke etc...). Because I find roads a very hard surface...

no. we don't do the drills in road running like we do at track. all we do is stretch and then warm-up usually running easy, then building up.

Usually if you are running on roads you are running further. You will probably not do really short sprints if you are a road runner, but you can still do all the exercises you mentioned, and I would do them on a soft surface.
