So many people aproach me while fishing to tell me of some better tide time, truth is with crabbing its the same as fishing, you do it when you can.

High tide becuase the crabs are up to you. Get a tide calander and look at the time. Go about 2-4 hours before and 1-2 hours after. That should be good.

When I have gone it's alway low tide and do fairly well at that time.

Crabs are scavengers. Opportunistic feeders always on the look out for food. If they find food they eat.
