I am not a Pagan but I use it as a personal growth system in conjunction with martial arts. Very powerful when drawn down to the physical. The symbols in Reiki can be found in the most traditional of martial arts forms. I use it with Shaolin-style Tai-Chi and Kung Fu. The system is called Shihando, which means Way of the Master.
Very powerful stuff.
