Salam for you my dear friend. Please make our life wasy and do not be depressed and anxious because it will ruin your life.In every difficulty there is an easiness as stated in the surah Alam Nashrah of the Qur'an.Allah does not give us a burden that is bigger than our capability to bear it as stated in Al Baqarah. You must keep patientif you suffered bad lucks and you must say alhamdulillah if you obtain some good lucks. You must remember Allah at any time and make a zikkir.You must do a wudhu and shalat when you are anxious and make a prayer or dua to Allah for getting rid of it. You must make mandatory shalat on time and watching tv do not make you to forget your obligation to Allah.You must make a tahajjud shalat and a prayer after midnight for asking forgiveness and help to Allah.You must mingle with good muslim friends so you could not have bad impact of bad muslim and non muslim persons.. Enjoying life is allowed by Allah but it should be complied to the life guide given by Allah (Qur'an and hadits)

that is too hard to answer.....sure, each has issues....but it is only when something dramatic is going on...like a gay pride rally or a terrorist attack....sometimes they push their own agenda and irritate people and demand "more than equal" rights....for example...muslims have just recently petitioned for foot washing stations in airports..whey can't they wash their feet at home? no other religon asks for things like this in public...or they scare people half to death by acting suspicious, then accuse people of being prejudiced......or gays willl want to do something obsene in public, and then feel discriminated against if someone complains..remember other people have rights too...
I do not think either has a real problem......if they THINK they have a problem because of their own perceptions of other's opinions, then that is the deciding factor....

I would say thos 6 Coal Miners in Utah have a hard life. I don't know how gays and muslims stand up to that.
