I want to get my nipples done but im wondering if it is a good idea to get it done at 16-ish in case it grows out, and also my nipples are slightly inverted if that would mean i should wait longer, i just want a general idea before i think about checking it out at a parlour.

im not showing anyone any pictures, and i don't need a lecture on body modification, i have several piercings already i just want a general idea, and i said 16-ish because im just about 16 and will probably have to wait a few months before geting it done anyways, if that helps clear things up :)

okay... i admit it... i don't get the tattooing and piercing culture... but i just wonder what you will tell your grandchildren about the droopy greenish peice of flesh that might resemble a butterfly if you stretched the wrinkles out of it
you are 16? why the hell do want to mutilate your body? these thing don't go away, this is something you will deal with for the rest of your 60 someodd years on this planet... why would you want to do that... grow up

as far as the inverted issue goes, it's always best to let a reputable piercer tell you if you have the right anatomy to support a piercing. nipples are significantly more everted after piercing.
should you wait until you're older? that is entirely up to you. you can always remove the piercing if you decide you don't want it anymore. however, healing a nipple piercing is a pretty big commitment. takes about 6 months, or longer. i slept in a bra for 6 months because they were so easily irritated. and if you wish to be at all discreet, you're committed to padded bras for life. and really, it takes all the fun out of having a piercing if everyone knows about it.
i have absolutely no regrets about any of my piercings, but my nipples are probably my favorite. to me, it was worth the long healing time. and although tons of people will tell you it's the most painful piercing, i honestly have no recollection of any pain.
and as a labor and delivery nurse, i assure you, having pierced nipples has no effect whatsoever on your ability to breastfeed.

First of all, to my knowledge, it is illegal in all 50 states to have nipples or 'southern hemisphere' piercings done (that whole child porn thing) even with parental concent.
Wait until you're 18. Your body should be pretty well matured. THEN have an experience, professional assess the situation.

Check with the parlor first !! They can tell you if your inversion is an issue... and in California, they should tell you to wait 'til you're 18 since that is the law.
I had one of mine done in 1992... not too much pain, healed fine, and caused no trouble. I took it out in 2002 for job safety.
I won't give any lectures, since my wife had her nipples pierced, and my wife and daughters all have belly-piercings.

If your nipples are slightly inverted you should wait a couple years - it's very hard to pierce nipples like that.
It hurts - I've had my lip and my private parts pierced - both hurt but not nearly as bad as having my nipples pierced.

i had mine done.. its fun.. but this piercing was one of my worst.. i had to clean it so thouroughly and it still got infected.. and none of my others have ever gotten infected... aside from that, when i got pregnant two years later, i took them out... everything was fine, but in the later months of pregnancy they would "leak" out of those closed areas more so than the rest of the nipple lol! just somethign to think about.. sorry if that was too visual lol!

I would wait until your older . I have mine done and my wife loves them I've been thinking of getting them double pierced.

I think that you should wait untill your about 18 or 19 because your boobs are still growing plus it would look better.

wait until you are about 20, then you should be finished growing and they will be easier to pierce

why...the....hell....=| okay one word,DONT do it. Think about it.. if you're gonna have a child,the breast feeding part is gonna be alittle... weird,with a hole there. && there are a lot more reasons that you shouldn't get it done. But if you wanna,then get it done lol. Well whatever you choose,GL!<3<3
