I applaud that you are trying to seek for something, and there is nothing wrong with that, demonstrating love is great, not judging another is also a good thing for it isn't for us to pass judgment unto others, but Salvation does not happen in groups. It is an individual reward that comes from our Heavenly Father by acquiring accurate knowledge of Truth from his word, the Bible, by applying this Truth to our daily life, and by helping spread the good news of His Kingdom. What you seek isn't in any religion, for religion is confusion. The only way to find the truth that would suit you as you already have some of the great qualities within you, is to pick up that bible and Learn about God's truth, and you shall find your answers. I hope this helps. Whatever you do, my advice is, read the bible, and then make a choice whether you want to follow it or not. You seem to have a good heart, I hope you find what you are seeking.

Surprised! A matured with so many qualities but still Empty?
Spiritual enlightenment can only be achieved with spiritual guidance. Read red-line Bible or try to find the actual message of Jesus christ not the false inspirations of Paul, Peter or Tax Collectors!
There is a little by himself yet Jesus clearly pointed to another prophet of God.
John 15:26 "But when he is come...he shall testify me"
The church is misguiding about the foretold prophet as "Holy Ghost" but it was already there with Jesus!
The Gospel of Bernabas clearly hints the prophet Muhammad (pbuh) to be the foretold prophet but the church has rejected this gospel? Why!!
The Almighty God has sent his final word - The Holy Quran, wherein you may find that prophet Muhammad has really testified Jesus and have cleared all false inspirations and doubts about his righteousness.

I believe you would greatly profit from Buddhism.
It's like a non personified form of Christianity.
And they do love to meditate.
I also recommend you read or watch "The Secret"
Compare this to Christ's teaching on Faith.
I must disagree with B. The Koran/Quran is worth reading, but I believe you will find Islam violent and itolerant. Sura 9:5 for example, contains some charming advice on how to kill Christians.

By 'religion' I assume you mean organised religion. If you want to be a member of a religion it will mean following their disciplines and dogma and hoping that the priest or guru knows what he is talking about. Many have their own agenda. All the major religions have split into factions each claiming to know what the originator meant by his teachings and so you will need to take this into account. You might find something associated with Taoism or Buddhism as a start judging by your comments.

Sounds like you want a god just like you. One who will approve of everything you have already decided you want to believe and do. It doesn't work that way because you are not God. God has already sent a Savior, His Son Jesus Christ. And He has given us His word in the scriptures. The question is, will you accept or reject the truth?

Read the Quran and let me know if you are convinced, it tells us that all the Prophets of God sacrifised their lives for us, including Jesus (pbuh) and by that I mean dedicated it to our service. but we do not believe that God, being the Just and merciful God that he is, sent his own beloved Jesus, an innocent man, to die for OUR sins ... Just read the Quran cuz there's not really any other way of deciding whether it's true or not !

God never established a religion. Those who wants religion were erring. God wants a relationship and you can get that for FREE.
You belive in GOD but the question is are you trusting Him.
You will never know God if you don't read His loveletter, the BIBLE.

I agree with Northstar above.
It sounds like you have built a web of beliefs to support whatever it is that makes you happy. Have you ever considered why you were put on earth. What is it that you were meant to do?
If you believe God exists, then you need to seek Him and find from Him what He wants you to do with your life. Seek Him instead of making up nice sounding things to do.

You might want to look into your local Unitarian congregation. Here's a link: http://www.beliefnet.com/story/80/story_8041_1.html
Actually, you might enjoy the Beliefnet site in general. They also have a quiz "The Belief-O-Matic", to you find what religion might suit you best: http://www.beliefnet.com/story/76/story_7665_1.html
