Of Yorkshire??
Not a lot really - you can got to the seaside, visit The Deep in Hull (which is actually pretty good) but can't think of much else. You'd be better of going to York for the day - it's not far.

I live in hull so I know the area pretty well.
First of there are some good things to do in Hull, you could go see a Hull City football game or a Rugby league game from either of the two hull teams at the brilliant KC Stadium.
Also there is the Deep which is like an aquarium but so much bigger. There is a lift where you go underwater and the new twilight zone where you see animals from the bottom of the ocean.
You could easily spend a day shopping in Hull at the large princess quay shopping center and the highstreet, alos if your visiting after September then you can visit the brand new St stephens center which is a massive shopping center.
Alternatively you could visit the Humber bridge (the worlds 4th longest bridge) which has a viewing point and on the north side which is closest to hull is hessle foreshore which has a brilliant walk, pub and a pebble beach.
You could visit the coast (I would suggest Bridlington or Scarbourough). Bridlington has a fair with rollercoasters and funhouses, also now the bridlington eye which is similar to the york eye and a lower scale of the london eye. The beaches are also great.
Have a good time!

I have been a couple of times and the locals do congregate on most saturday nights at various traffic light throughout the county and watch them change colour it is a very exciting pastime especially in Scunthorpe. The locals place bets on what will be the next colour to appear and invariably get it wrong because they have not yet worked out the sequence of traffic lights. Also the M62 motorway is cobbled from he humber bridge into the centre of Hull. this is the only motorway in the world like this.
The best thing to do in the east riding is to find your way out and get back into the real world.
HAVING SAID ALL THAT IT IS GREAT BUT I was only kidding about the cobbled motorway
