I got contacts on Tuesday. My vision is not bad but I need them for driving. Anyway they been very sensitive to brightness.. TV computer phone sun etc. I can't describe how it feels, it doesn't hurt but my eyes start to close I try to keep them open but they refuse. I'm scared because I don't know what it is or what to do about it. Please help me.

I was a certified optician for 10 years. From the symptoms you're describing, I'd first suspect dry-eye syndrome. This would make your contacts feel 'tight' (for want of a better word) also, blinking would be irritating. The contacts wouldn't move properly causing you to get a 'halo' effect from light. Ask your eye doctor for a Schirmer Test (which diagnoses dry-eye syndrome).
Keep in mind that blinking hydrates your eyes and clinical studies have shown that while working at a computer people don't blink as often as necessary to keep their eyes/contacts hydrated. Try to make a conscious effort to blink while at the computer.
Smoking will aggravate contacts - dries them out.
High quality sunglasses are a must. Contact lenses will make your eyes more sensitive to sunlight.
If you have astigmatism and have not been prescribed toric lenses, this could be a factor. Also inquire as to the 'base curve' of the lens - you could have accidentally been given the wrong one. It'd kinda feel like your eye was being squeezed.
Hope this helps.

See your eye doctor.
