have to condemn people? And don't tell me "only God can condemn, but God doesn't condemn, you condemn yourself". Why do you feel the need to defame anyone who is not Christian or anyone who "sins"? I thought that was your "god's" job.
I am only concerned with the social ramifications of your religion on me. I do not fear any of the threats of hell, I am only concerned with how dishonest Christians are and how malicious and slanderous they are in their wishes to ostracize people and villainize people.

Christianity breeds ignorance and slaves.

Whining whining whining. You are missing the point.

Christians are God's human partners. We are here to say that the Word of God is the same for everyone. The Gospel is the good news that God loves you. He has asked us to spared the Gospel and baptize people in the name of the Son and the Father and the Holy Spirit. He paid your ransom, it is your choice to accept it or reject it. Hell and heaven are real places. Jesus actually tells more about hell than heaven. You get to choose where you go, but if you want to go to heaven, Jesus is the only way. : )

That is why I am Christian but I don't have a religion. I am not part of any Christian sect or something like that. I just believe what I believe is right and I don't push anyone on my beliefs. By the way, I feel the same way brother. Things like "No confession = hell" really makes me want to kill my Catholic neighbor.

I think it is just our human nature that causes us to be this way, our own sense of pride and power, that realistically we don't have. I don't hate religion as such, but what I do hate is the people who run the religions, they are a bunch of money hungry and hypocritical business men, who just preach a tantilizingly good sermon, to keep people coming back, it is a business tactic, they need a product to sell, and they have the perfect product, something that is controversal, reassuring, and half of Australian need it, They have supply and demand, and they make a killing. and for a perfect example look at www.afa.net and look at these hypocrital and damning people.

it is true that only God can truly condemn and unfortunately it is also true that some christians bring it upon themselves to judge all non-christians. you cant hold a non-christian to christian standards. but not all christians are like that you know. oh and really you should fear hell
