How do keep one song on my slideshow and make it play through out the whole thing?

when i add a song on powerpoint to a slideshow it only stays ther for one of the slides but i want it to stay through out the whole thing....how do i do it? plz help!!!

Insert your music file into slide 1 in the normal way.
Right click the music icon on the first slide and select "Custom Animation"
On the Custom Animation window, right click the "Music" title, then choose "Effect Options"
Under "Stop Playing" select After (enter the number of the last slide)

It should now play on all the slides

To stop the sound file on mouse-click of this slide, select On click (the default).
To stop the sound file after this slide, select After current slide.
To keep the sound file playing for several slides, select After, and then set the total number of slides the file should play on.
