You are better than who believe in one god or 3 in ones.

An atheist never has to repent because he treats all humans equal. You donot have caste and untouchability. You do not have reason to demolish other person's places of worship. You do not have reason to attack and kill thousands of innocents in the name of god. You dont have to live in fear that someone will weaken your religion. You will not fight to prove the superiority of your god over other gods.

You need not bribe any God by flowers, Money, Gold and other prasad. So you save a lot. You will not keep a God as your business partner. You will always do right things because you believe that no God will protect you. If all become like you the country will flourish.

Repentance means that you realize something you did is wrong. If you feel atheism is wrong then you should be repentant and you should strive to correct the error.

My guess is that you don't feel atheism is wrong or you wouldn't be one in the first place. I agree with you there. I don't think it's a sin to believe or not to believe.

I think if God exists then he gave you a brain and the ability to figure stuff out, and he doesn't want you to -pretend- to believe something someone tells you you're supposed to believe. I think he wants you to believe whatever seems reasonable to -you-. So more power to you!

In young age we usually do something different than the contemporary beliefs…
Some people wear caps turned back…, torn clothes… exposing parts of their bodies that are usually covered out of civilised norms…
Becoming atheist is also an attitude like the above… if you are a non believer then be so why do you like to declare it publicly… expecting attention of the crowed…
Better do something creative for standing out in crowd…

Ah, you're not an atheist. You just think you are because you were exposed to a fundamentalist religious environment when you were younger and you don't actually believe that God is an old man with a white beard who lives in the clouds.

It's OK, I'm a Christian and I don't believe the "old man in the clouds" concept either...

I just could not resist posting this it's just sooo funny

AN ATHEIST IN THE WOODS

An atheist was walking through the woods.

"What majestic trees!"
"What powerful rivers!"
"What beautiful animals!"
He said to himself.

As he was walking alongside the river, he heard a rustling in the
bushes behind him. He turned to look. He saw a 7-foot grizzly charge

towards him.

He ran as fast as he could up the path. He looked over his shoulder

and saw that the bear was closing in on him.

He looked over his shoulder again, and the bear was even closer. He

tripped and fell on the ground. He rolled over to pick himself up
but
saw that the bear was right on top of him, reaching for him with his

left paw and raising his right paw to strike him.

At that instant the Atheist cried out, "Oh my God!"

Time Stopped.
The bear froze.
The forest was silent.

As a bright light shone upon the man, a voice came out of the sky.

"You deny my existence for all these years, teach others I don't
exist and even credit creation to cosmic accident."

"Do you expect me to help you out of this predicament? Am I to count

you as a believer?"

The atheist looked directly into the light, "It would be
hypocritical
of me to suddenly ask You to treat me as a Christian now, but
perhaps
You could make the BEAR a Christian?"

"Very Well," said the voice.

The light went out. The sounds of the forest resumed. And the bear

dropped his right paw, brought both paws together, bowed his head &

spoke:

"Lord bless this food, which I am about to receive from thy bounty
through Christ our Lord, Amen."

No .not at all.God himself is a being and a non-being too.he is visible as invisible .confusing?
You know space .It is nothing - void -vacuum- a non -being .When it is "NOTHING " how do you say that "IT IS" t OK.It is not anything .How do yu expext all or any visible things /thing , exis it ther eis some space - emptiness for it to accomodate .>
Now let us think that there is no space at all - no vacuum - or emptiness in the world .where will all he unierse and all beings would be then? Will it e possible fo rhtem to exist at all? so what is emptiness and what is call nothng is needed for everything to exist .but that nothg ness needs nothing to exist in.Tha ti aht esingularity of space .See the following lines of bhagavad -gita :
"The whole universe is pervaded
by my UNMANIFEST FORM;
all creatures exist in me,
but I do not exist in them."....verse 4 of 9Th teaching .

" Just as the wide -moving wind
is constantly present in spacwe ,
so all creatures exist in me ;
undestnd it to be so." .....verse 6 of 9Th teaching .

" Nothing is higher than I am;
Arjuna , ALL THAT EXISTS
IS WOVEN ON ME,
,like a web of pearl on thread." ....verse 7 of 7Th teaching .

All theae are exisitng on NOTHING only.If an Atheist says that god os nothing , he will be right too.no regrets .god exists as nothing too.You are also not wrong s yu see god in one of his facets .
