Take for instance, the guy that found the mountain gorilla. This guy didn't take one captive (would you try and catch one?), but he did shoot a few to bring back to England as specimens. I bet that his African guides must have eaten some gorilla meat and have some old recipes that were passed down to them. Plus being in the jungle and most likely far from camp, they prolly fed the whole crew on the expedition.

unless they were able to fry those suckers up and put some ketchup on them, I doubt it.
