I must be one of the lurkers! I have read a couple of your questions (for those that don't know what they are you can click on the askers profile and see what questions they have asked) and decided against answering.
There are many Buddhists in answers, from those who have read a book and consider themselves Buddhists to monks.
Buddhists from my own experience tend to answer the questions they do, thoroughly and with thought, but being the Buddhists they are they tend to only answer good questions about subjects they are familiar.
Asking people to rate sutras is not a way to get a respose from a well learned Buddhist. All Sutras are in theory the word of Buddha - do you expect me to rate the words of Buddha being a highly unenlightened person?
Most Buddhist sects study only about three Sutras in depth, and this is considered the work of a lifetime. By commentating on the superiority of my sects chosen Sutras I would be confering the inferiority of another sect: not something true Buddhists do.
The teachings of Buddha are open to misuse, I like to know who I am speaking to before going to indepth as to the lesser known teachings. Looking at your previous questions I do not know if you are looking for greater understanding on Buddhist teachings or are writing a Theology paper about the worlds religions.
For the most part Buddhists try to upkeep their religions high Ideals and that is probably why you didn't get many answers.
I asked a question once and was told, there aren't many Buddhist questions asked in answers, and they are hard to find amongst all the Christian, Athiest, Hindi, Wiccan etc postings that if you really want to ask Buddhists a question it is best to do it in a Buddhist Forum like
http://www.lioncity.net/buddhism/index.php
As I said, Buddhists have a high code of ethics so it is best to read what Buddhists think is abuse first.
Good luck to you anyway and I hope I can answer your next post!

... you at the instant are not that outstanding, are you? and you have truthfully NO carry close as to what the philosophy is even asserting, do you? i might recommend which you learn greater approximately it, yet you're striving to try this very element by skill of asking this question, are not you?. Suffice it to assert it demands a brilliant variety of musing with the intention to truly understand, however the reason any Buddhist nonetheless says "I" or "me" is to confer with that singularity wherein is in simple terms a factor of the bigger image. that's like pertaining to cup-holder on a mug. i think the finished "no such element as self" element originated from something alongside those lines... A: "Why wasn't I born a chook?" B: "Dude, there is not any such element as 'I'." A: "What ever do you recommend, dazzling one?" B: "What you in basic terms asked, in different words, is not any distinctive than me asking. 'hi, why isn't this cup a fish rather?' the reason being with the help of the fact a guy desperate to make this cup out of uncooked supplies. it won't be able to in basic terms magically be a fish, can it? So the comparable is going for you, and each action you do. each thing you do isn't in basic terms limited by skill of the regulations of the character, yet defined by skill of the regulations of the character. you at the instant are not better than a creature of reason and result. Your very thoughts, thoughts, and thoughts at the instant are not in basic terms predetermined, yet predefined. No distinctive than a gadget with multiple aspects striving in direction of one purpose, the universe in simple terms exists as such, and you're in basic terms a factor of it." except you think of on it, you will not get it. Now, will you think of on it, or attempt to proceed bashing what you do not even understand? - atheist, Buddhist ?????????????????????????????????????? ?people who regard a freedom from the fake morals and out of date ?practices related to intercourse or faith as debauched are doing naught ?yet corrupting their minds with foolishness. ? ?My morals come from compassion; my compassion from ?understand-how. and that i seek for to appreciate and understand... each thing. ??????????????????????????????????????
