Maybe some tribe in some super remote village knows of some animal with meat that, when served side to side in a blindfold test, would be so much superior tasting to say kobe beef.

Maybe some crptozoological species we haven't found yet, like bigfoot, or yeti meat! YUMMM!

I have had a lot of wild game but the only thing that compares favorably to good beef to me was a whale steak that I had in Iceland. It tasted like beef and was very tender. You better appreciate this story because every environmentalist on the planet will probably be looking for me now!!!

In the US, the big three meats are beef, pork and chicken with chicken, I'm guessing, in third.

According to the USDA website, http://www.fas.usda.gov/psdonline/circulars/livestock_poultry.pdf , Pork consumption is higher than beef and chicken production.

I doubt that there's an undiscovered new meat that will replace the top 3 we have now. With globalization, I would think any undiscovered meat would have been discovered. If it really was the next great thing, it would have made a big splash. I think the consumer is happy with beef, pork and chicken plus seafood. Change can be difficult for most people.

I would guess that Yeti is a gamey meat. It wouldn't be popular.
