A life of meaning comes from living for a real purpose. Real purpose answers questions such as "what was I sent here to earth to do?". Real purpose requires a Creator/God.
“Unless you assume a God, the question of life’s purpose is meaningless.” –Bertrand Russell (20th century philosopher, mathematician, Nobel Laureate and atheist)
Many people confuse the question "what was I meant to do?" with "what are those things that make me feel good?" Having a real purpose gives our lives worth, however, when we get praise, both real and imagined, it builds our egos and gives us a feeling of self worth. The result is that things that inflate our ego give us feelings that mimic the feelings we would get from having a real purpose. And so we confuse the two.
Life has no meaning, no purpose and is utterly pointless without God. So I would rather seek God than live a life that must pretend to have real meaning.

If you don't make it about YOU, then you will discover the point of life. The great way you feel because you helped someone...maybe someone you don't even know. Volunteer at a senior citizen home. Most of the seniors are so lonely. Either their families are far away, or they just got to busy to stop by. Donate blood, you will literally be saving lives...anonymously. You will live a life of meaning when you stop living it for yourself, and start living it for others.
Become a living sacrifice and live your life for Christ, that is the best yet. He DIED for you, you can LIVE for him.

the point of life is to keep living until you find out exactly what that point is. If someone finds out a meaning of life than that person has lived enough and is ready to die......
Life is a journey...a puzzle to be solved.....if you knew the answer whats the point of living, right? The obstacles you go through bring you closer to finding out the meaning...but it seems like not close enough every time.....Dont get discouraged and keep living. One day, when you are really old and lived out all of the experienced, you'll know what "the point" or the meaning of life is.....then you are ready to die.
