Here are some numbers that should be able to help him out. Alot of times NCO's will not help him become a leader over them, if you know what I mean. Most Warrent Officers now take care of their own packets.

you're able to have a bachelor's degree to be an officer. in case you bypass into the provider clean out of highschool you could replace into an NCO earlier others on your intense college type are carried out with their college degree. additionally, in maximum circumstances Privates comprehend and seek for to their senior NCO's lots better than their officers. that's been suggested that "officers lead instruments. NCO's lead squaddies." For some NCO's it quite is a private option to stay enlisted. Others in simple terms quite are not college fabric yet can nonetheless make a brilliant occupation for themselves as an NCO.

What help does he need? Does he need his hand held to go schedule a phycical, take the AFAST, and gather the required paperwork and requirements to submit his packet? He should follow the link and ensure that he meets the criteria.

Everyone can sit on here and say to go to your commander and everyone else for that matter but we dont know the situation. Since he is wanting to become a pilot he should go to an aviation unit after his packet is almost complete and find a CW4 that is sitting around and ask him for assistance. But like I said he should be complete with the packet and meet the criteria. This doesnt require an NCO it requires a self starter.....any Warrant officer would respect that.

Nothing, he is trying to elevate himself out of the enlisted side of the house. He needs to find himself an officer who will "Rabbi" him through the convertion. No offense is intended, however officers are the principles behind helping an enlisted man transition, not NCO's. An NCO like the PAC NCO might get involved at some point, but it going to be at the direction of the S1..

Hope that helps, good luck

He should have a command career counselor with all the answers. If that isn't working there's the command sargeant major to light fires in peoples A$$e$. Understand though that it's on him, that needs to get the initiative to start writing up his commision package.

Help in what way? all of the legwork and research needs to be done by your husband. They won't do any of it for him. At most, the will steer him in the right direction or go over his packet.

your husband has to prove that he wants this badly enough by doing the work himself. shows motivation and determination.

Forget the NCO's that won't help. He needs to go straight to his company CO.
