It is best that your hair is a little dirty before dying it. Just brush your hair really well before coloring so that most of the hairspray comes out. After a day and a good brushing, it shouldn't really be an issue.

It would be best to wash your hair and leave it for a week without putting any hairspray or leave in conditioners in it and then dye it. It is true that that if you leave your hair 'dirty' the colour will absorb better into the hair. I don't know what the result would be with hairspray but I imagine that hairspray would coat the hair in a glossy or waxy film and therefore the dyeing process would not be as successful.

For best results dye hair the day after you have washed it. NOt sure about the hairspray thing to be honest - I reckon it could stop some of the colour taking.

Wash it and wait 24 hours before you color. The hairspray can potentially block some of the color from reaching your hair which could result in uneven or faded color. It can also increase the drying effects of the color which could lead to breakage.

I think it's better to wash your hair first, You want the dye to stick to your hair not the dirt or the hair spray. Otherwise most of it is going to wash straight out.

flow forward, wash and dry your hair. in case you flow away the hairspray the dye can not adhere on your hair wisely. Plus it is going to rid your hair of any outfitted up oils that would avert the dye top affecting your roots.

No, it's not good to dye hair with hairspray in it.
Just rinse it out - don't wash it or use conditioner.
Then, blow dry it or let it air-dry.
Then you can dye it.
And it's good if your hair is a little dirty so the oils on your scalp protect your skin.

I doubt it would have a bad effect on your hair, but I would wash the hairspray out of it just to be on the safe side.

Yes, you can. Just make sure you brush your hair first, gently, not roughly, otherwise you can stimulate your scalp to get scalp abrasions or it will not take as easily. When a client sits in my chair and has product in, I take a pick gently through it then proceed with the color. So, yes you can color your hair with hairspray in it. I do it all the time to myself.
