used to know a girl when I was a shorty (family friends) but we never used to actually speak to each other, but I used to go play with her younger brother a lot. 20 years later I saw her while I was overseas (we now in our late 20's). We went out to dinner and theatre to catch up. She told me when we were little she didn't speak to me as she didn't know what to talk to me about. Now we get along pretty well and we talked for hours - she told me about the past and what she been upto since. when I suggested I send her something when I got back as a thank you gift, we stopped at her place and she gave me a gift to take home. She hug me goodbye.

I sent her books coz she reads and she went and told her family members. She snail mail me back to say how she enjoyed catching up with me. She sent me a magazine she was recently interviewed and photographed for about her unusual line of work.

Do I have to wine&dine more? Some advice please.

You sound like you're interested in a more intimate relationship. If so, I would say keep the lines of communication open and don't jump the gun. She could be enjoying the friendship, but not ready for anything more serious. Go for coffees, a walk, visit a museum, take a car ride and have a picnic. Enjoy each others company and let things happen. Don't try too hard.

I feel the foundation is starting off well. Relax and do things as they come naturally. It sounds like both of you are fond of each other and interested in staying connected. Make sure you don't lose contact this time. To answer you question regarding winning and dinning ...yes...if you would like to go somewhere....This is a courtship. If you want a future with this person, think about the stories you would want to tell your grandchildren of how you wine and dined their grandmother. I wish you all the best! Good luck!

If you really like her you will wine and dine her more, but if you feel that she is taking you on a mixed-signals' ride then move on. I personally like a persistent man, but she may not. Try her one last time and if she still acts the same find another woman who is worthy of your time and efforts(a lot of women are waiting for a man like you).
