I'm a guy, not a lady. I plan to wear a sarong, a t-shirt and kukui nut necklace my entire visit with board shorts underneath for hitting the waves, with Teva sandals?

What do you do with your sandals while you're snorkeling? Where do you get those surf shoes that you can wear with your swim fins and avoid burning your feet?

Guys wear sarongs in Hawaii too. You might want to leave the Tevas in the car or room. Get a cheap pair of rubber slippers to go to the beach if you plan on leaving them to go snorkeling. Any ABC store or grocery store sells them. Longs Drugs...WalMart, etc...
Buy surf shoes at any store that sells snorkeling/scuba gear...Sports Authority has them. Lot of surfs shops carry it.
Keep safe and have a fun trip!

The sarong is fine (totally up to the person), but leave your expensive sandles at home. Plenty "rubbah slippahs" at every ABC store!!! You will be right at home!!! Wear what you like an "hang loose like a goose, Hawaiian style"!!

Alooooooooooha!

Please don't wear a sarong or we'll feel the results on the west coast. So many people will be boating toward the shore to take a picture of a guy in a sarong that it will probably cause a tsunami. Please...on behalf of all of us who like dry land to stay that way.

I cant say I in no way placed on a skirt yet dont make a recurring of working right down to the interior of sight marketplace like that. I agree alongside with your question and that i dont see any problem with it. i think of its stupid adult men can not try this and that our society says no.
