During this time of year it is tough to say what will be happening over 10 days out. The weather patterns in the atlantic/caribbean area can be quite volitile. Keep in touch with your cruise line and/or travel agent. If there is a cancellation or a change due to weather they will try to contact you, but if there are a lot of customers some get missed or they just cannot connect with you.

We had a customer who had a change on a cruise due to the weather on a caribbean cruise which will sail in about a week. She found out by calling the cruise line, before the cruise line had contacted us, so we could update the customer.

Just contact the cruise line, also most cruise line will put change notices on their websites.

You are going right in the middle of the hurricane season which is from June to October 30. The weather in the places you mentioned will be hot, temps in the 90's, and humid. However a hurricane or tropical storm with high winds not up to hurricane force can change that. Even if the hurricane does not form there may be rains and clouds in the area.

If/when there is bad weather the cruise lines will prepare for altering the cruise. They will do the port stops in a different order if necessary to steer clear of the hurricane. If they are not able to set sail from Miami or Puerto Rico because the hurricane is near they will cancel it. If they sail and a hurricane is at the return port they will delay the return until the hurricane passes.

There is a hurricane in the Caribbean right now that will affect some cruises and what the exact weather will be when you go no one can say.

In case you have not noticed it Hurricane Dean is running through the area right now. While the island you are going to were not directly hit they certainly got a lot of wind and rain. The biggest effect is that all the Western Cruises have now switched to Eastern Caribbean ports, so these ports will be quite crowded. Excursions could be a problem. Go to www.weather.com and you will be able to find out what the weather will be at each of your destinations. Sorry I couldn't give you better news but you are in the heart of hurricane season.
