Do you just look at the girls body and thats it or do you get to know the to know the girls personality?

Well, I personally get to know the person as a friend and see if they are loyal to friends and boyfriends they have. I think loyalty and honesty have a lot to do with it. Also, personality and a sense of humor are bonuses. Most guys just look at the body, but that's why the divorce rate is going up in America.

You don't know how many times this question has already been asked! But I will answer once more, just for you. First, I have to put beauty in its place, because it seems that many women have a flawed perception that guys only go for looks.
Beauty to me is like making a good impression. Of course, I could never date a girl that I didn't find attractive (and neither would a girl date a guy that she personally found unattractive--everyone has their minimum standards). And attractive to me personally means a beautiful face (to me) and a not-fat body. With that said, however, a good impression must make good on its promise for me to be interested in actually dating the woman.
In other words, she must have the type of character I find attractive. In the past, a sense of humor, intelligence (not necessarily being smart), being caring, ambition, and confidence are the five basic characters and traits that any girl who grabbed my attention had, and that will always be true. And it would be great if she is a Christian, though this one is not set in stone.
So it's not that complicated. In summary, looks make me want to see if this is a woman I would be interested in dating; character, traits, and sparks make me interested in actually dating her. Hope that clears things up once and for all. God bless.

Looks are important, but that doesn't mean the same for every guy. Some like girls with big boobs, some like girls that just act like boob. Some kind of look has to get you in the door for physical attraction, a good personality is what keeps you inside.

I have a very rare personality( i think)...I always look at all the flaws of the girl first...personality wise, character and then looks. Only then do I look at the good side and think carefully if I feel that the good stuff can outweigh all the flaws. Looks aren't really important, character counts the most. Personality and interests plays a role too.

she has to be smart I'm not saying a genies , of course pretty, not lazy i like an active girl and someone who you know you can trust which is hard these days. oh and its great if she can cook too thats the way to my heart.

She's got to be good looking, nice (BIG ONE), smart (capable of carrying on an intelligent conversation), and she has GOT to laugh at my jokes (i'm very sensitive about this lol). Those aren't in order, but those are what i look for.

A girl who prays. I also like to see how they treat their parents, espeusually her mom. That is the biggest turn off when I heard how a young lady spoke to her mom.
