All you regulars know I'm Pro reform and we all seem to have gotten along fine.Now all of a sudden a bunch of new faces pop in and WHAM.What's up with that besides maybe misunderstandings?How about everybody chills and steps back?If I remember correctly this is a forum to debate and not hate right?

It's morning now but looking back over the question, yes there seems to be tension. So you aren't wrong.
I thought the format was you ask a question, people answer your question. I see lots of chattering among people answering the question, laced with venom.

The essence of democracy is you can say whatever you want freely. Frankly the expression "politically correct" was invented by Americans and is only used by Americans. Why? What are you all ashamed of? Having an opinion?

There is alot of tension on this site and it's due to the name calling, insults and racist remarks. To some on here others are not allowed to speak what they feel although I personally thought that that was what this site was for. To discuss and debate the issues on immigration. Alot of users on here think it is their place to hate on those that they don't agree with. I lost some useful information for that very reason.

but your right. your not just sensing it. there is tension. I just recently discovered yahoo answers to ask some questions about other stuff. I then was curious and asked a question about whether or not illegal immigrants should have amnesty. I was just expecting yes and no answers just to see what people think. I was surprised by some of the answers, and for me if someone types something to me and i feel insulted I'm gonna get them back and twice and make it more crucial even get other people i suspect might say the same things to me.
maybe things just need to get worse before things get better. more people have to hate each other even to the point where people on both side die from hate crimes that began inside here and lead to something worse. and only then when this happens illegals will get amnesty.
Kind of like when there was slaves some whites wanted to keep them some didn't. there was a war and these slaves instead of being sent back to Africa became free citizens but still had a lot of violence and discrimination aimed at them which created tension.
and now even these African American hate each other from light skinned black to dark black even Hispanics hate each other on skin tones and origin. all minorities start to hate each other. but i don't know if white on white hate exist.

I'm not tense...I'm still laughing over the Special Olympics crack. I'm bummed about my earlier question so I'm very mellow tonight...surprise and enjoy ;) Yea, it's tense and everything changed while I was gone so I'm lost right now.

For me it was last night on immigration. I'm a lot mellower tonight after my violations. Humbled a bit if you will.
