Lemons contain citric acid....so yes, it does erode surface enamel. As well as many soft drinks and pretty much anything with the stuff in it.

I've always heard that the high concentration of citric acid will eat away at your enamel, but I can'r imagine that casually tasting/eating a lemon or lime would cause any real problems. I wouldn't suck on one for long periods of time either though...

Probable because there are just alike... and maybe some of the citric acid inside the lime can wear away the enamel on your teeth Citric acid may be a weak acid but alot of it may do some damage

FYI.LEMONS AND/OR LIME IS BAD WHEN IT IS EXPOSED TO THE ENAMEL OF TEETH FOR A LONG TIME.
IT WILL START TO DISSOLVE THE ENAMEL. THIS IS A VERY SLOW PROCESS.
