The easiest way to lose 50 pounds is to eat more fiber and skim milk.
I do this by eating raisin bran cereal with skim milk first thing in the morning when I get up, and last thing at night before I go to bed.
At nine grams of fiber and 200 calories per serving, it keeps my stomach full and everything moving along. After a few weeks, she can start to cut back on portion sizes and add some high fiber soup like lentil or green split pea at lunchtime. Those are 9 and 14 grams of fiber per serving each, with about 220 calories. Increase water consumption to at least 4 or 5 glasses a day.
If after a few more weeks she's able to eat high fiber cereal with milk for breakfast and late night snack, high fiber soup for lunch, and a meal of no more than 800 calories for dinner, she will be well on the way to losing the 50 pounds.
After a few weeks, though, the weight loss will slow down. At that point, she can start walking a half hour per day, preferably at the same time each day. Whenever the weight loss slows down, add another half hour of walking each day.
The 50 pounds will come off, all of it. To keep it off, keep either the high fiber cereal or the soup in the diet each day, and, of course, at least a half hour walk each day.
Most people can tolerate this type of diet pretty well, and it is designed to avoid upsetting the metabolism, digestion, or blood sugar.
Good luck! ;-)

I lost about 75 pounds by eating an apple and drinking a glass of water about 30 minutes before each meal. I used Red Delicious & I was hardly hungry at meal time & it also helped with my cravings for sweets.
Weight Watchers just teaches you to limit your portions. Nutrisystem helped me lose 20 pounds, but that was because the food was so disgusting I just couldn't eat it. LA Weight Loss is like Nutrisystem, but much more expensive and the food actually tastes good.
Seriously though - those programs are all about healthy, proportionate meals. Also - I snacked all day long so I never got hungry. When you get hungry you grab anything handy and eat too much of it. Of course you have to choose healthy snacks - I like those 100 calorie Kettle Corn bags & chocolate drizzled rice cakes the best.
Good luck to "your sister"

I've struggled with my weight for years... I tried everything on my own, and it wasn't until I joined Weight Watchers that I lost any significant weight.
I lost 45 pounds on it, and since December I haven't lost anymore weight, but I haven't gained, knowing that I wasn't always following the plan as I should.
Weight Watchers will teach you how to eat smaller portions and how to prepare healthier meals, etc. using real food instead of having to buy pre-packaged meals.

Is dependent upon which one you might be dedicated to doing! Should you were dedicated to doing both, i might believe that shedding weight can be less complicated than quitting heroin! Facts say that heroin addicts don't rather have a good danger of staying off of heroin when they stop. The same is true whilst you lose 50 pounds(you'll definitely achieve some weight again!) My sister has effectively been off of heroin for 7 years. It was having a daughter that became her around!

I have had remarkable results with Herbalife's Shapeworks Advanced Protein Plus program. Have lost lots of weight, have lots of energy, and feel great! The products are all natural and healthy - which is why I feel great!
If you are interested in taking a look at the various products/programs, visit www.rNutritionMall.net. These products have worked for me and might be just what you're looking for, too.
Best of luck to you.

When I actually followed Weight Watchers and worked out, I lost 60 pounds. It works if you follow the program, but it's hard to not gain the weight back if you stop going.

All the programs offer a lot of rhetoric--a lot of stories and promises---they all have fine print that says--stop overeating and stop eating crap !!! You control what goes into your body--no one is jamming it own your throat. Eat less and eat better. Get out and walk or move around--and 1 or 2 pounds a week is just fine....don't expect miracles.

Do alot of cardio, I'm talking like every day. Eat less and eat healthy stuff not all fatty fried foods. I dont know if the weight watcher programs work because you dont need them. Just do the cardio like jogging and running and stuff like that.
