Agnostic doesn't know whether there is a God or not.

Athiest Does not believe in God

Pagan does not believe in the same god as Christians. They have many different Gods and Goddesses. (I am not completly sure about this one, a Pagan will be better off explaining this one)

Agnostic definition as was defined by T.H. Huxley, the man who coined the term that means one should not profess to a belief in something that cannot be proven. In other words, the do not believe anything. They don't believe God exists, but they don't believe he doesn't either.

Atheism is a philosophical view that rejects theism. Theism is the belief in the existence of one or more divinities or deities. In other words they deny that there is any God in any form.

"Pagan" comes from the Latin word "paganus." There are three main definitions of this term, but they all basically mean "outsider". Therefore, in a religious sense, it simply means non Christian.

Hope that helps...

Pagans are generally defined as anyone that worships more than one god. or anyone that worships an earth or nature god.

though that is not a historical definition it is what the word has come to mean today.

in the past it simply meant "from the country" and was used to describe anyone that was not Jewish.

today it is an umbrella term that envelopes Wicca, Druids, Celtic Pagans, Astrau (Norse paganism), the Greek and Roman gods . many of the African indigenous beliefs. and Hindu religions. and probably many more that i either forgot about, or do noe even know about yet.

why don't you just start out by putting "definition: atheist" on your google space and finding out that way?
Then you can compare the actual definitions with what people here use. Sometimes it's not as clear because there are too many variations in beliefs. But knowing what the real definitions are is a good place to start.
Good question, but too tedious to give the answer you want.

I was born and raised in the christian faith (the faith of my parents)

so naturally i should follow their beliefs right?? WRONG.

i did some research and studying on my own and discovered Islam. I am now a muslim, of 5 years.

Our creed is to believe in Allah (the One and ONLY diety worthy of worship-who has no sons/daughters), His Angels, His Books (the origonal, not modified Torah, Bible and the Holy Qur'an) His Messengers (including Jesus and Muhammed), the Day of Judgment, and Fate whether good or bad (predestination).

Duties of Muslims:

Shahadah (Testimony of Faith)
The first pillar of Islam is to believe and declare the faith by saying the Shahadah (lit. 'witness'), known as the Kalimah.

Salah (Daily Ritual Prayers)
Prayer (Salah), in the sense of worship, is the second pillar of Islam. Prayer is obligatory and must be performed five times a day. These five times are dawn (Fajr), immediately after noon (Dhuhr), mid-afternoon ('Asr), sunset (Maghrib), and early night (Isha').

Sawm (Fasting the Month of Ramadhan)
The fourth pillar of Islam is fasting. Allah prescribes daily fasting for all able, adult Muslims during the whole of the month of Ramadan, the ninth month of the lunar calendar, beginning with the sighting of the new moon.

Zakah (Alms Tax for Poor)
The third pillar of Islam is the alms-tax (Zakah). The word in Arabic implies "purification" and it is understood to mean that a person "purifies" his holdings of wealth from greed and stinginess.

Hajj (Pilgrimage to Mecca)
The fifth pillar of Islam is to make a pilgrimage (Hajj) to Makkah, in Saudi Arabia, at least once in one's lifetime. This pillar is obligatory for every Muslim, male or female, provided that he/she is physically and financially able to do so.

A definition of a Christian is, "One who believes and follows Jesus Christ. Agnostic [Greek-without knowledge] is, "One who believes in a higher power"[but doesn't pay much attention to this "being", or the "being is detached from us down here"]. Pagan-from a Christian standpoint, "one who worships another god or gods."

An agnostic is one who believes that we can't know whether or not god/s exist. An atheist believes in no gods. And as far as pagans go, I don't feel qualified to answer that. Sorry :(

most religions are pretty much similar aside from atheism which I don't consider a religion but merely a belief or turning point from which a non theistic religion or a way of life can grow .

Christian - must believe Jesus is your savior, son of God, died for your sins. reward is heaven, must have personal relationship with God, church is not the bases of being saved. Mostly live by Jesus Christs teachings. Only ONE God(trinity) God created man, earth and space. must have NO other God.
