This has really been bothering me! Cain killed Abel in the bible. God gives a mark to Cain and told him that anyone who kills Cain will receive a punishment sevenfold! Does that mean, if god takes away Cain's life naturally, that gold will receive the punishment, or is god excluded from this punishment? Thanks for answering!

According to one part of the bible (sorry forgot which part), Cain's house fell on him, noone killed Cain, but he died. To me, that was god's doing, so in a sense he took Cain's life away.

maybe, the house falling on Cain is only one version of the stroy, and it might have been from another text completely, not really sure where I found it. In essence, though, God did suffer (not physically) when Abel died, but I guess god did not receive the curse of being punished sevenfold for Cain's death.

The seven-fold punishment was about revenge, not natural death. God was trying to teach us that exacting revenge is wrong.

God put the mark on Cain to avoid further murders.
When Cain died naturally, God did not receive any punishment. His rules for mankind do not affect Him. He is above human rules.

Considering the fact that God is the punisher, I think the answer is obvious. And how can God (a supernatural being, by definition) take Cain's life "naturally"?

I believe that you need to read about Cain in the Bible and there is nothing in the Bible about a house falling on Cain.

Heb 10:30 For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.

Peace be with you

God's relationship to man is mirrored in our relationship with our parents here. Therefore in this situation "Do as I say, not as I do" is in effect. LOL! No one can punish God. Like you can't punish your parents -though returning home at 30 comes close... The bigger question is religious law says "a life for a life"; why the exception this time (and the Protection Program on top)?

Cain is big foot all dressed up in the furs of animals. Cain will never die. He stays away from ppl becuse he feels bad about what he did and he dosen't want to cause anymore pain and suffering by being killed becuase somone wants to catch big foot.

Can it just be plain and simple that God does not want men to kill for revenge as He will the the Just Judge on the final Judgment Day.?

We die because of sin.

So, it really isn't God's fault we die.

So, no, God will not receive punishment for Cain's death. And, as it happens, he did not.

Cain was accidentally killed by his son and grandson. 2 arrows.

Being killed and dying naturally are two different things. I really do not get your question
