I have a good life and am quite content. I have a bright future and I am blessed. Does anyone else feel this way (elaborate a bit if you wish)?

No Peach. I don't have all that, and I'm still happy.

I am too! This fall will be my final semester of college. I'll be graduating with a Mechanical engineering degree. My handsome smart little boy is starting kindergarten in a couple of weeks. I'm so proud of him. He really is my pride and joy. My best friend just moved back to town this summer. My husband and I are getting along extremely well. (We had a couple of rough patches over the last couple of years.)
Yeah I'm pretty content with life right now and looking forward to many more happy years!
Glad you are too! Thanks for asking!

Since this is in the religion section I take it that you are asking why you need God if you already are happy? You don't become a Christian to be happy. You become a Christian because you are sinner who will spend eternity in hell if you don't have a savior because you can't live a perfect life. The Bible tells us we will face persecutions. It is true the Holy Spirit will give us comfort but that doesn't mean Christians live the easy life.

I am very happy!
I am easy to please but hard to satisfy.
I am trying to do everything right but I don't try to run faster than I have strength. I try to love everyone I meet and learn as much as I possibly can. I seek truth with an open mind as best I can and look for it everywhere.
The heights by great men reached and kept
Were not attained by sudden flight
But they, while their companions slept,
Were toiling upward in the night!
"Never, never, never, never, NEVER give up!" - Winston Churchill
I became a Christian because I found truth there. We should not seek a place that fits our beliefs but rather seek a place where we can learn truth and grow. That's what it means to have an open mind. I can literally achieve anything through The Atonement of Christ. He didn't come to save us IN our sins but rather FROM our sins. I feel one reason I am happy is because I am doing what He wants me to do. Since my Father in Heaven is perfect in every way and wants me to be happy forever, I can trust what He says! I have faith IN Him not OF Him. I know He lives and loves.
I hope everyone is seeking joy and truth.

In the most important ways, I am very happy. I have a husband who loves me, good friends, loving pets, a good job, a business, and a comfortable home to live in. I could nitpick about the little things, but when you have love in your life, it makes the difficulties a bit easier to bear.

Awww, I'm really happy for you too. I am so fortunate to have a roof over my head, enough to eat and a family that loves me (even the 4 legged members). Life is good!

I am glad for you.
I have always lived with uncertainty, although I have gleaned happiness from dire situations, I have never felt like my future will be bright. I worry too much, I guess.
