Ok. So today I went to the doctor and found out I have strep throat. But I'm supposed to sing for my grandmother's birthday party. But now I suck. Is there anyway to make my voice sound well for like 30 min??

the medicine you got should work within 2 days. you can try to gargle with salt water, a full glass of warm water and a teaspoon of salt. also drinking warm water, a few swallows throughout the day will help your throat recover faster

If your grandmother's party is a week or so away, you might be okay enough by then. If it's in just a day or two, you're gonna be out of luck. This is because, even if you're on meds, your throat may still feel swollen for a few days. The meds may also affect your vocal cords, so you definitely don't want to force anything until your throat is fully healed.
