First, be sure you have a burner, because sometimes there are two bays but one plays CD and the other only plays DVD,s. You need the program, Nero or any other. There are several free ones on the Internet. You put your files on the hard drive and then open the burning program. I have been doing this for years and find it easier to drag and drop files. Nero allows you to do this. I open Explorer from a short cut on desk top and have both programs showing. I just drag them and then insert the blank DVD which I think has to be a DVD-. After you have dropped the files into the open window, you can click on burn. Do remember that a DVD holds a lot of data and when you are finished, you cannot edit or add to it. I hope this helps. You may contact me if you wish. Good luck.

find a converting program...like nero or dvd2svcd but i use convertxtodvd but it's not free. so all you have to do is convert your avi to mpeg.

go to www.videohelp.com under tools to download a converting program
