God, who can create or destroy entire galaxies with no effort at all, has to get Noah to build an ark, have millions of animals from all over the planet go to this ship, flood the entire planet, drain the water and then redistribute the animals again.

What is the point?

Why not just say "Let their be death", and be done with it.

Why exactly did god not just create another planet and just depose Noah and the animals? Probably vastly easier than removing all traces of the flood.

Experience and understanding is the best thing in the world.

Would Noah had know the power of God? Noah showed faith that God would do just what he said. God is insurmountable.

Noah was counted as righteous because God told him to do something that others thought was impossible and they laughed at the time and persecuted him. Yet he kept on going because God said it.

God silenced the animals and closed their mouths, why because most of them were wild and dangerous. Yet he said two by two. They came to the ark,Noah did not have to round them up. God did all the main work. God had a plan for mans salvation even then. Noah showed obedience even when he did not know what a flood was or rain. You see the earth was moisturized by a mist that came up from the ground.

God repented regarding the extinction of Man. Noah and his family went through the water for a long period. Lived in the boat for a time with those animals.Yet God instructed him on the size of the boat and the provisions he need. He had more than enough to feed everyone.

Often we question the word of God and the motives behind it.
Just like Noah we should just do it. people will laugh and persecute you but he survived it,with the Lords help. Noah knew God on a different level. He was so in awe of God, after wards that he got drunk.

He learned to trust God at his word.

The old testament is a type and shadow of the new testament. For example the physical religious ceremonies performed by the jewish preist typed or shadowed a spiritual truth to be revealed. Even elements such as wood, brass, gold have meanings (wood = humanity, brass = judgement, gold = deity). When you begin to understand these things the bible takes on a whole new perspective and you begin to see the wonder and depth of the wisdom of God. You begin to realize that no man could have written this book it is too amazing. Now as to why an ark and a flood. The ark was made out of wood, representing the humanity of Jesus Christ who would save us from the destruction coming upon the face of the earth. To be saved you had to get into the ark. Likewise today, Christ is our ark and by one spirit we are all baptized into one body (Christ). Finally, the water which raised the ark above the destruction of the earth typifies the waters of baptism which all true believers submit to in fulfillment on the new birth (being born of water and of Spirit). This same type is seen when the children of Israel passed through the red sea. The new testament declares that moses and the people where baptised under the cloud and in the sea. The word of God is so beautiful to have your eyes open to its truth is the greatest of all things. Amazing grace...once I was blind, but now I see.

First of all, the ENTIRE planet changed with the flood, secondly, there were not 'millions of animals' that had to get on the boat. And it took Noah a long time to build the Ark. Maybe God was trying one last time to get the sinful people of that day to change from their sinful ways and return to loving Him. He ALWAYS tries to get our attention before He punishes. That is one part of a loving God that many people and 'religions' tend to try to hide or cover up.

God maintains justice.
Do not forget that the angels, all with free will, are looking on to see if fairness prevails.
For god to simply kill everyone would only prove that he is POWERFUL, but not necessarily FAIR.
When God saw that nearly all the earth was filled weith violence, like now, he also found that Noah and his family had remained faithful. And because of that were saved.
And because animals cannot sin, they also were saved.
God would not do the same good thing twice...like create the animals...which would imply the first time was a mistake.
By saving Noah, he proved that created man can use his God given free will and remain faithful to and serve his God.

The story of Noah was stretched a bit according to the Book of Urantia. There was a real Noah. He did warn people to build their houses on boats because of the flooding of his town. The floods did come and wiped out most of the people.
He and his family survived with the cattle and live stock he had.
He did not have an Arch that had two of every animal of the world in it. The flood did not cover the world as has been told. This sound more conceivable to me. Although the Biblical story is highly possible because with God anything is possible but I think it was exaggerated.

First of all noah didnt have to flood and drain the earth. God didnt say let there be death because he wanted to save the few corrupted people on the earth.

Noah's Ark is a shibboleth of sorts. If somebody tells me that they believe in the literal truth of the Deluge story, I automatically know that I'm dealing with someone who's very stupid or very deluded.

First of all God did not create man as sinners nor to be sinners. Man was without sin until he listened to and obeyed the serpent (Satan).
God gave dominion of the world to man, so man had to be involved in saving it. If Noah had not obeyed God then ALL man would have been whipped out.
Hell was not created for man, but rather it was created for Satan and his fallen angels (demons.)
God does not want to destroy any man, but man gives God no choice because they reject His word.
