God's "voice" is not literal. Its a new kind of thinking. Almost as plain as a light bulb going on inside your mind.
I knew this right away because within 24 of praying the sinners prayer, I suddenly had a different perspective on things. Things that seemed so important to me just the day before really didn't matter. For instance, having everyone approval. It was liberating and I knew I never felt like that before. That's all I can say about it. Hope this helps. God bless.

The best way to talk to God is to not talk to God. Why? Because "God" is not some seperate entity. Silence and God are one and the same. When there is inner silence of mind, and an open allowing heart, "God" takes over. For silence of mind, one must watch the mind, and if one is watching the mind, one is not the mind; one is still Silent Awareness, and that Awareness has no shape or form whatsoever. Awareness is Infinitely Everything, and so it knows everything, which is why people sometimes experience "epiphanies" or moments of profound insight.

When I pray I feel a prescense in my heart, other times I get answers through people after I pray. Example, I was needing money for groceries one day and I found $5 dollars in parking lot after some prayer. I could by milk and cereal for the kids.

note I'm getting alot more hours now also, another prayer answered.

John 10
27. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28. And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
29. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
30. I and my Father are one.

1 John 4
15. Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.

I talk to myself .... I'm better at understanding what I mean and hence usually proceed with a clear idea to deal with my problems rather than the communication gap found in outside sources . Better life through free thinking .

I talk to him whenever I want to. I have 24hr access to GOD because I will always be connected to GOD, I'm one of his GAZILLION parts. I don't go to any church or follow any religion, I don't just believe, I know GOD. I feel him and see him all the time. Every life forms I see reminds me of God's presence, he's everywhere. I believe he's within all of us, within all life forms.....For some, this might be difficult to comprehend....
