Where Can I learn Armenian?

Question

I go to Glendale Community College where the population is pretty much 85% Amenian. I keep hearing the language a lot and it's gotten to the point and I'm actually curious to try to learn it.

But I can't fit the Armenian class to learn the language this fall semester. I've try going to Barnes & Noble and Boarders to find books, but all I find is one or two Dictionarys. So does anyone know any websites or anything else I can look into to start to learn the language?

This is the best site Jack (as far as I know) and free of course, to learn Armenian language, for none Armenians.

And you made a good decision because after all there is this old saying......

Armenian is the only language they speak in HEAVEN,
so it is useful in both worlds....lol.

Well you can find online courses or it would be more comfortable to have your father teach you some stuff about the Armenian culture so you can have a sense of nationality and a cultural sense of what Armenian language is like. Just take some classes and use the language. Ask your father TO SING FOR YOU (ITS VERY IMPORTANT IN LEARNING THIS LANGUAGE) ask your father to take you to some kind of Armenian church.

At most bookstores, they actually have cd's that teach Armenian..you could learn it that way. Or maybe start "speaking" it with another person...start simple: Hello, how are you? "Barev, inch bes-es?"
