If you're thinking about getting married in a red dress, you so should go for it.. especially if it has lots of bedazzled gems on it. The bigger and faker, the better! Not only will it match you McD's banquet, but you'll be stunning on the dance floor. I'm sure your gymnast friend would be jealous that she wasn't in the dress! The santa had can so be a new style of vail.
Work it girl??

You are kidding aren't you...with all the beautiful plus size wedding gowns on the market you want to wear a red wedding dress and a Santa Hat?. I saw Bridzilla the other day where a redneck bridezilla wore a red wedding gown. She looked like a big fat oversized red apple...terrible, and she was a low life redneck with a dirty mouth.

Go to: plussizebridals.com, therosedress.com, christinagowns.com, sydneyscloset.com.

Try looking for a white or ivory wedding gown that is very simple in design, with an a line skirt and straight across bustline, and cap sleeves. There is a dress for every figure. See what you like on line, and then go to a bridal shop and see if they can order what you saw and liked. Good Luck

Yea, the whole bridezilla episode was terrible. It was not made for her body. I agree with some of the other posters. With all of the beautiful full figure dresses out there, why red? Do you like the color THAT much? You know, alfred angelo has bridal dresses for plus sizes that have just a hint of red or any other color under the sun. You can have just the trimming done on the dress and veil, or even carry red roses. That would give you the red color without looking like that poor woman on bridezilla. I'm a size 16 and before i got my dress i wanted to try on soooo many other dresses that were obviously made for smaller bodies. This is where i needed a reality check. Find want looks good on you AND what you feel good in. Good luck and watch that bridezilla episode, it was just wrong on so many differant levels. lol

It's your day! Wear whatever you want! I'm sure you will be happy and beautiful no matter what. BTW, I love red, too and I've always thought it would be a great color for a wedding dress, too! Congratulations!

You can wear purple and look like Grimace!
Seriously wear white or ivory like a traditional bride. They make flattering ones in larger sizes. (I should know - mine was a sz 18w) I'm not a fan of color on brides dresses but I am just traditional.

You wear whatever you want! No one chose the dress I ultimately picked, but they weren't the ones wearing it... Do not, for any reason, listen to any of the crap that people give you about anything to do with YOUR wedding....

I saw that on Bridezilla, I didn't think the bride looked that attractive in the red because it didn't seem right. But if you like it, then go for it. In the end, it's your decision, not anyone elses.

Sure, but not the santa hat.

Why not? Your man is marrying you fat! When you are the bride, it is your wedding, and you should wear whatever you want.

You probably need a bra that fits better! No bra should do that if it fits properly. Try going to a store where they actually measure you and fit you into a bra. 85% of American women wear the wrong bra size.
