It does not sound good! It sounds like maybe he got into a fight with another cat or got bit by something that has something. Not good. I really believe that you HAVE TO take him to a vet like now...one of those emergency clinics. This is not a good situation. I really think that is what you need to do!

You need to have your cat seen immediately. You cat could have been hit by a car, attacked by an animal, etc and could have a plethora of injuries.
Pelvic fractures could be making your cat painful and not want to eat. There is also a condition called saddle thrombus where a blood clot forms in the blood vessels supplying the rears legs. As blood supply is lost, the tissue suffers lack of oxygen and built up of waste and toxins. After so long, therapy to return blood flow is mute as the tissue has suffered too much damage. Usually there is underlying heart disease that causes the clot formation in the first place.
Ruptured disks in cats are rare but can occur due to trauma. Back factures are a nightmare and I can't imagine that if it was so, your cat came home.
Like what's been said already - if your child told you he/she couldn't use their legs, how long would it take you to get them to an ER?

He's been injured. By a car, a dog, a fall from a tree or roof, who knows what, but he's in pain and needs to be examined by a veterinarian to see what's wrong.
This isn't something that can wait, he needs to get professional help right now. It'd be considered an emergency and any clinic will take you as a 'walk in' on this instead of making an appointment and delaying things.

I found a stray cat that was similar to that. She wouldn't use a back leg and she was lethargic. I didn't take her to the vet right away because I didn't have the money to support a stray and no rescues would take her. Well, finally I broke down and took her. They did blood work and all sorts of stuff and it turned out that she had a ruined liver, anemia, and a fractured leg. She had to be put down because they couldn't help her without killing her. It still brings tears to my eyes because it's likely that if I had brought her in right away she could have been saved. Take your kitty to the vet, don't wait! You may be saving his life.

sound like he's hurt pretty bad I use to get a lot of these questions when i was in the human society at Lafayette yet and what other people have to u is to what u need to do because if u don't take him in soon you will be in for a bigger mess of bills and u may even lose your cat by valve movements so it would be best to take him in right now to get him check out and fix the problem quick and to make sure nothing else is broken

why is there nothing in here that says you took the cat to a vet? is this was a person it would be in emergency immediately. you as the pets owner are responsible to get this cat medical attention immediately. if you cannot afford a vet then take it to the humane society/spca and surrender it so they can try and save it. then get a pet rock!

You need to get him to the vet immediantly!! He is obviously in pain and you are toturing him! He sounds like he he either is paralyzed or has a pinched nerve. Either way its not good for the lil guy. You may end up putting him to sleep.

It sounds like he could have been hit by a car or attacked by another animal. Definitely wrap him in a towel and take him to an emergency vet clinic ASAP.

Please bring him to the vet, it's bad for him to suffer and eventually past away because of his bladder, I don't know much about cats, never owning one, but I know that it's hard to see animals suffer especially because he's family to you. So if you bring him to the vet, only spending some money think about it: you can stop the suffering and save his life. Good luck!

He needs emergency medical care now. Sounds like, broken legs, dislocated hip, broken hip or possibly a spinal cord injury. Get him medical care before it is to late.
