As I am of mixed heritage, yes, I do mix of those Deities that encompass my ancestors.

I am however careful to make sure they are Gods who would have no problem with each other, and who's spheres of influence do not conflict.

I usually stay with the Hellenic Pantheon. Although there was some degree of crossover in ancient times I am very careful about how I mix the gods.

There is a differance between an eclectic approach and a syncretic approach. I prefer to use a syncretic approach as I have the opportunity that way to research how they mesh....

Honeslty no, I never have. I understand the concept and can respect it, it just never rang true with me.

Julia many people mix and match pantheons for lots of reasons. One being some people believe that ALL goddesses are simply aspects of THE Goddess. Some people have mised heritages, there for they call on the gods of different houses. Its a personal thing.

When I'm doing a ritual or a spell, I find a god/goddess (or both) who represent something I'm focusing on. I don't care which pantheon they are from. I'm particularly fond of Hecate and Amaterasu. Minos has done good things for me, too:-)

No.

In heathenry we like to say honor all your ancestors, but choose ONE pantheon.

It's primarily about culture of origin and worldview. My feeling is that godhs should be honored within the cultural norms by which they were first known, and it's really not possible to do that well with more than one.

as often as possible. each culture has defined their gods in a unique way, and sometimes you have to go all over the world to find what you're looking for. i usually go with the greeks, but i have a strong affinity for certain hindu gods and for the buddha. my main man is cernunos, tho.

Yeah, I don't have a problem with it. Some panthoeons I connect with better at certain times of the year. That's one thing I like about my faith.

Yes, I believe that Gods are Anthropomorphisms. Therefore it doesn't matter what I call them.
