Hmm ... I can't tell from your suggestion that we should apply this in R&S, whether you are completely missing Carlin's point.
But if you are just being sarcastic (about the applying that philosophy in R&S), then you get his point completely.

Carlin is my most favorite beloved curmudgeon. He tells it like it is, as far as religion is concerned. Live and let live takes on a whole new meaning in Carlin's mind...lol.
