How can you tell if chicken is good/done after its been cooked? I know you can tell if its done before you cook it due to color/smell. But is there any way to tell after its been cooked? Will it taste funny? Or taste normal?

the center of its thickest part will be white after being fully cooked. You don't want any pink left in the center of the chicken breast. Good luck!

If you mean good, smell is one indicator, before cooking.
Meat should be kept cold, but not frozen, before cooking.
If you mean well-cooked; the best method is a thermometer.
I like the temperature forks for testing all meat products.
If you don't have a meat thermometer use a fork or skewer.
Juices should run clear when cooked meat is pierced.
Or when cut open with a sharp knive, it should not be pink.

I would recommend a meat thermometer to check for doneness. It helps to have these around so that you do not run the risk of food poisoning, especially when it comes to cooking poultry and pork. For your guidance, I have included the link for "Temperature at Which Chicken Is Cooked." I hope that you find it useful.

If you are cooking chicken with the bone in then you can cut the chicken near the bone and if the meat is white ,,and there is no pink or blood then it is done.If it is chicken breasts or boneless chicken you can cut the chicken at the deepest part and see if it is done..Also chicken legs when they are done the meat will start pulling up and away from the bone.
