I've prayed many times for an answer to a question I've had.. and I got the same answer so many times.. but I wonder if i heard it wrong. Because I know the devil can "play" God and even trick us with bible verses.. which is what my answer was always in the form of.
So what do you think?

Because you should only pray to give thanks for what you have received not what you want

You can ask the universe for anything you need and it will be fore filled as long as it is for your highest good

God will not help those that can not help themselves
That is how you will know : )

Love & Blessings

i think the answer is in your heart and you are trying to find any excuse to ignore it.

you think if you attached biblical word games onto it, it would justify you from choosing to do opposite of what your heart is telling you.

i think if you are coming up with the same answer over and over, you should follow your heart.

if you are following the bible, then you know that god would not give you anything that you cannot handle. he would not lead you down the wrong path. now if you choose the wrong thing, who are you going to blame?

that is what the devil do, he likes to cause confusion so that you don't hear the voice of the lord. but god is in your heart, you know what is right. make your choice.

good luck

Pray in the Spirit, seek God in Spirit and in Truth and you will know beyone any doubt.

Satan is a lying deciever the author of confusion and doubt. Cast him down and put him under your feet and praise God for the answers to prayer!

Wow, never thought about this before, but how can angels or demons hear prayers, even said out loud, directed only to GOD?
I always thought it was a private line.
Shoot, I'm too old to give more power to Satan, I'll stick with being wrong and ignoring him.
Sorry I can't help.
You gave me something to think about though, eavesdropping in on my prayers, hmmm, never thought about this.

God's blessings will always benefit you and bring Him glory; the devil can only offer counterfeits that will come with a price and inevitably will bring you sorrow.
Test everything with the word of God; if it doesn't match up then you're dealing with a counterfeit.

Satan is not likely to trick you with a bible verse. If your request was a good thing it probably if from God. For instance, if you prayed to find the winning numbers to the lottery, it was not from God.

I think you want to tell God what to do. YOU are the one trying to play God.

The devil does not answer prayers.

You might be asking for something you don't need.
You are just trying to find an excuse because you didn't get what you want.

I definatly agree with you about the deception ,, so ask ,,,and wait for the answer to come to your heart and mind , but be patient , don't let your first thought be your only one and you'll be less likely to goof,,,,,
