Ok, I’m still reading Exodus.. and God is saying stuff that i feel makes him to be spoilt, jealous, and egotistical! Ok, maybe he did create us.. and if some did not want to follow him why did he then make us so independent! I could go on so much more! but every time i pick up the bible in my toilet and have a read I feel rather argumentative about it ><;

sometimes i feel the same way. But the fact is, he is God... And I know i've heard that God is in fact "jealous" but not the way that you and I are jealous. Someone once explained it really well to me...but I can't remember every detail. I know Creflo Dollar and Joel Osteen really helped me to understand God a little better.

well imagine this.....He created you and loved you sooo much... just like your husband or something and your 100% sure of his love (God has shown the Isrealits many wonders done by His own hand!) and then you go running off with someone else, of course he will be mad and jealous! so then He said...go, go and do whatever you want but when you're in touble dont cry out to me. Makes sense. Humanly speaking you cant love somene that doesnt love or respect you back. But HE still does, dont forget that.

so its totally up to you, but do try to see it from different angles.....same with your reading sessions lol

good luck!

you give it far too much credit . Exodus probably never happened according to the lastest archeological findings so keep it in mind it's most likely either a political based overstatement of just plain false . And don't you expect to find the reflection of human frailty in the works of mankind.

I feel as if you will surely get the answers that you seek if you will only pray that your reading will bring the instruction - this being prior to your study - regardless of how brief or where you do it. The Holy Ghost will reveal to you the truths therein.
