I'll try to answer your question as serious as I can since no one else can be serious. When God sent Christ to the Cross. He was the sacrifice that we needed to atone for our sins. God does still speak, just not in the same way. I think it is simply because of Jesus and his sacrifice. He no longer has to speak to man in an audible voice. His work has been completed through Christ. I believe that is why Christ said, It is finished!

Since Jesus ascended to His Father, God talks to us here through His Word the Holy Bible. Check it out sometimes. He has a few things He wants to say to you!
BTW you may be interested in knowing that for about four hundred years at the end of the Old Testament but before the beginning of the New Testament, God completely stopped talking to Hs prophets. He was preparing the world for HIs forthcoming Son!
Praise His Holy Name with me!

Talk!?
What is talk? On the highway the finger may cause an explosion of temper. Did the person talk? or, did he communicate!
Similarly, God never talked to everybody. He talked to his prophets. However, he never stopped communicating with all of his servants. Neither has he stopped today.
The example of the prophet Samuel's mother should be read. She besieged God repeatedly to have a child since she was childless for years. For years she requested this at the temple! Finally, Jehovah granted her request. It is good reading both in terms of human feelings and in terms of learning patience in prayer.
1 Sam 1:7 . . .year by year, when she went up to the house of Jehovah . . .
This is why you have prayer. God listens to the prayers of all the righteous, and the righteous that petition him to be shown the truth and the way to walk - get an answer.
The problem with prayers to God is that he is no genie in a bottle that indiscriminately bestows all upon the requesting person.
He answers prayers that are according to his will. This greatly reduces the numbers of prayers receiving a Yes, and positive reaction.
Unfortunately, humans in this world are permitted to suffer. This permits God to sound our hearts for defects and for sincerity in faith.
There are basically two types of reactions:
A: person suffers, and curses God and king.
B: person suffers, draws closer to God, repents of sinful way of life, suffers in faith, eventually helped.

In the last verses of Revelation chapter 22, God says that no man may add to the words of the Bible. Do you notice that whenever God would speak, whatever he would say would be added to Bible? Whenever God would reveal himself at all, the experience would be added to the Bible. But because God says that no more words are to be added to the Gospel, then God ceased to reveal himself to humans anymore.
However, God DOES reveal himself in your heart. You know those feelings of right and wrong you have in your heart? That's God. When you're saved, God tells you what is right in your heart. He guides you. He also speaks to us through his word, the Bible. But in NO WAY does he speak to us face to face, through a dream, etc.

I think it's because no one is listening to Him! He has revealed Himself to us through the chosen ones and even they stopped listening to Him. About four hundred years before Christ came to us He stopped talking to us, then sent His Son and we nailed Him to a cross we listened so well.
I believe God has just thrown up His hands and just let us be as we are until we are at the point of no return in Armageddon; upon that brink God will intervene and start talking again. This time we won't have any choice but to listen. Because we will have proved ourselves incapable of taking care of ourselves, and the brink of Armageddon will prove that.

angels appear when they are needed or sent. If God doesn't send them it may be because there is nothing important to do that day or week.
To see an angel is very rare. They appear when they deliver a message sent from God.
The reason we are here is to practice faith in the word of God with out divine intervention. That way our faith is pure and we can be sure the path we have chosen with by our own decisions not because we saw divinity.
Jesus told the apostles that those who believe him and did not see him resurrected were the most blessed.

It could be that no one is listening. Or it could be that people fear ridicule for claiming that God talks to them because the world is filled with doubing Tomas's. Also, no one is writing new parts of the Bible, so no written records of such experiences are widely circulated.

I don't know what you mean by "why doesn't he talk to us anymore". If a person is in relationship with Him, he communicates back. There are times when he is silent, but there is a lot more to it than why doesn't he talk to us anymore. I hear from Him, very much so. Maybe it is not Him who stopped talking to you, rather it is you who stopped talking with him. We have a freedom with this, a choice of what type of relationship we will have with our Father, and he will not force us in any one direction. I don't know if this helps ...
