we had a member that was on the outs with his family because of his religious choices.

on one of our holiday celebrations (i believe it was Beltane)
we convinced him to invite his parents over. they declined to join us in the circle but did stay and watch. afterwards, they asked me if they could come back and participate. because they felt that they had missed something importent. they remain true to their Christian faith, but are now OK with the choices of their son. Now that they have seen that wo do not do all of the horrible things that pop culture says that we do.

It wasn't during a formal ritual or circle, but there were times when I'd just sit around enjoying nature, and I'd feel this wave of...I really don't know what call it other than peacefulness, but it was more profound than that. It just felt like all was right with the world at that moment, and I was very spiritually aware. It was awesome. Even though I'm no longer a practicing Pagan, it still happens from time to time. I never ever once felt that way when I was going to a Christian church.

Hi Chicky,
You make my memory reel. Many awesome experiences but the one that sticks out in my mind, for it was a very precious, yet unexpected reaction, is this; It was a weekend gathering of 48 Pagans from different cultures and walks. We were sharing rituals and ceremonies. On the last day we experienced an oriental (asian?) ritual where 24 sat in chairs with beautiful bowls of water, upon which magnolia blossoms floated, at their feet. The remaining 24 washed their feet!
Many of us surprisingly busted out in tears. I cannot describe the wonderful feeling but it is one I will always cherish.

Blessed Be

A few years ago my High Priestess opened our circle and channelled The Merlin...
Whilst I was in the circle to become physically connected to The Merlin, I stepped into a vortex, which was a direct conduit into "the next world"...
It is an experience that has still got an impact upon me, it is a very hard experience to explain and put into words...
Blessed Be... )O(

1965 in Hawaii I had an experience in a remote area of the Big Island beyond Waiapio Valley.

Discovered suddenly I believed in earthbound spirits. Until then I thought I was an atheist.

During my first ritual, I felt complete peace with myself. It was if I was finally on the path that was right with me. It was wonderful, and really, I can't give it justice here.
