The earth will not be destroyed by global warming... God will put an end to the earth before that. According to God the rapture will take place (2nd coming of Christ) and believers will be taken up. then 7 years of tribulation (now we know there will be natural disasters durring the tribulation perhaps this may have something to do with that). AFter that those that repented durring the tribulation will continue to live on when he will make a new heavan and new earth and reign for 1000 years. Do not worry about global warming... that is not how the human race will become extinct... science may have whatever facts it can muster, but i can guarentee you the world will not flood again because God said so. another problem i see in most people is they assume that God blessing them means and easy life, good money, a nice car, whatever... no that's not what its about.. it is about eternal security and assurance of salvation... i could care less if i die because i am grounded in God and i know i will go to heavan. Don't fear things that can harm the body.. fear things that can kill the soul.

We are not heading into another ice age. Quite the contrary. We are slowly coming out of one. The last ended about 10,000 years ago.
Global warming is a natural part of the earth's cycle. Is it supposed to be this drastic? Probably not, thanks to man-made pollutants. Should we do everything we can to leave the environment as undisturbed as possible? Of course we should.
Does this have anything to do with god? Absolutely not. What is happening to our planet today is a direct result of our emergence from the last ice age and our disregard for nature, especially in the past 100 years.

If you read the book of Revelation, you'll find some interesting prophesies. For example, a third of the plant life being burned up? Islands sinking? I personally believe that global warming is a natural cycle, but could God be meaning to use global warming to achieve biblical prophesy? Who knows?

We're not headed toward an ice age. I'm not sure what you mean by "ice age cycle". There's no such thing. The earth goes through cycles of global warming followed by global cooling, followed by global warming, and so on, but there's no reason to get alarmed. The last global cooling period was in, I believe, the 60's. No one froze to death. Get a grip.

It's amazing with this violent universe that people tend to think that they are owed a peaceful little planet where everyone is always safe.
God promised to create a terrible environment for the Earth for seven years. I think that people are worried about man, when they ought to be worried about God. But they must have their little illusion of control over the planet and God.
Oh well.

A Bible full of floods, wiping out entirecities with pestilence and with sheer divine might, of sexist overtones, of tremendous trials in the name of a fickle, vindicative Creator, and who has done nothing to stop Satan (the alleged source of evil) despite being omnipotent, and an ice age makes you question your faith? Ever heard of the Rapture? Or maybe the fact that Nuclear Holocaust or an asteroid crash would easily wipe us out before the millions of years when that would occur? Geez....

I logically fail to see how believing, that God has things under control or is working things according to His Master Plans; is any different than "blindly having faith, belief, and trust" in the people around us?
We put our "faith and trust" in humans everyday, thinking that the car they are driving is (1) in good working condition (2) is insured (3) that the driver them self is legally allowed to drive in the first place.
We put our trust in humans for our medical care, not questioning whether they are legally able to be in that position or knowing how many lawsuits or malpractice suits he or she has had.
So, why question God and His Will for us, when we are so open and trusting of humans; every single day of our life?

Ever hear of the great flood where supposedly every inhabitant - except for Noah's family - were wiped out. Why would God do this? because god can.
