I'm also worried about safety. I'm seeing a huge increase in unsafe behavior with truck drivers lately. I even saw one purposefully running a car off the road. I'm worried that third world drivers behind tons of steel entering our roads. My experience with drivers from under developed nations has never been of the best,. Of course horror storries of Buses in latin America might have colored my view.

As fore tired's statement, Hopeful the new rail systems at the ports would cut back truck traffic in the LA areas. I'm mad Villaregose has trucks running day and night, and it might be the reason why I am seeing more problems with the trucks lately.

Since due to Global Warming we are going to die soon who cares!!! The problem is we have signed and approved the North American Free Trade Agreement we are kinda stuck with this and wasn't that agreement completed during the Clinton Administration with the great environmentalist Al Gore as Vice President.

This is fricken scary!!! The 710 fwy (in So. Calif) to the Long Beach and LA ports are already overran by crappy piece of crap trucks! What is going to happen when these trucks are added to this mix? Our freeways are way too crowed with illegal aliens, are the freeways in Southern California going to come to a complete stop with these hundreds of trucks on the roads??

I will tell you this if any of these idiots run into me, I will not be suing them. I will sue the Federal government for allowing these trucks on our roads.

Forget about the pollution the dam things are unsafe. They shouldn't be allowed on our roads unless the drivers pass our raod test and the trucks pass our safety standards. Mexican trucks are killers, not just polluters.

Cheer up. It's only going to get worse, especially when the unions have their backs broken and all of the truck drivers are Mexican.

I think we are responsible for enough pollution of our own to worry about trucks from Mexico...You don't seem to be worried so much about all of the Canadian trucks I see every day on the interstates.

How about the U-Haul trucks on your roads driven by your citizens.

They are unsafe, big poluters. U-haul is being investigated by US and Canada major safety issues.

Their escape clause is the franchise owners are responsible.

Think about this.

you're worrying about "mexicans"

in case you didn't know, the U.S is the ONLY country not to ratify the kyoto treaty.

The U.S and China produce the most pollution in the world.
Stop blaming others for what you're doing.
