I'd love to know if there's a name for people who do not have a religion but do belive in God and and that he interferes with human life and the laws of the universe and also belive in supernatural events (prophecy, miracles) and divine revelation prominent in organized religion, along with holy books and revealed religions that assert the existence of such things.
If someone believes in all the above gets asked about his religion, what would his answer be? Is there like a religious philosophy that is described by all of the above?

Theist. Theism is the belief in the existence of one or more divinities or deities. If it is strictly one God, then he is a monotheist.

LOL...I could relate with what you were saying until you got to the part about "holy books and revealed religions that assert the existence of such things".
Now, I have to re-think what you are actually saying here. :)
You believe in God, miracles, prophecy, divine revelation, holy BOOKS, and 'revealed religions"....
You do not speak of Jesus or the Holy Spirit or the Bible, so, that rules out "Christian"...yet many of the things you spoke of would have had me "assume" you meant Gifts of the Holy Spirit, or, was a person whom was Jewish and having beliefs built upon by Judaism.
I guess I am of the thinking that you have "New Age" beliefs... accepting selected viewpoints of many beliefs...even non-Godly type religions.
May you find Truth. :)

Theist would be the common secular answer. Spiritually, you would be just another sinner. It is whether or not you are washed in the blood that counts. Satan never has a problem with religion. He has no problem with religious people. It is those that are anointed with the Holy Ghost that he cannot deal with. You see, even the demons believe and tremble. You must be washed in the blood of Christ, and lead a holy life to the best of your ability. This is what will enable you to enter into the kingdom of God. As for what you would be called, who cares? The world hates a righteous person. It leaves the Holy Spirit convicting their lives. People are uncomfortable with that.

Religion is NOT Christianity. Religion is legalistic. Christianity is not. Christians believe in God, that Christ was born of a virgin and died and rose again and ascended to heaven. He goes to prepare a place for us when He decides to take us home. A Christian doesn't necessarily claim any one religion and shouldn't. A Christian is a child of God and doesn't succumb to the legalistic trappings of a "religious" body such as any one specific denomination. However, Christians CAN belong to a specific denomination if they wish. There are many Catholic Christians, there are many Baptist Christians, there are many Lutheran Christians. There are many Christians whom simply believe in the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit and choose to live their lives for Him only. If they're asked what religion they are - they say "none, I am a Christian". And that's exactly what I say. katiefish <><

Pantheist comes closest. A belief that God is in all things. That bird, that rock, you, me. But I don't think it's the kind of personal god that you are referring to (interference with human life and universal laws). The personal god concept definitely falls into the category of religion. In particular, any Judea-Christian religion or Islamic sect will do. The only disagreement that such a believer would have with religion is that while he or she agrees with the ideas, they don't particularly want to participate in the rituals.

A theist is a person who believes in the existence of at least one God. A monotheist believes that their is only one god whereas a polytheist believes that a number of Gods or Sacred things exist.

At first I wanted to say Deist, but if you believe in a significant amount of divine intervention, then I think nonreligious theist would be the best description.
You may also be a liberal Christian---providing that you believe that Jesus had spiritual significance of some kind.

You don't have to go to a "church" or whatever to worship God. "Come as you are" and that means just that. Fellow-shipping can be helpful, but it is not a requirement for loving/worshiping the Lord. If the Lord knows you love him, he knows your heart. If I worship in my closet and the Lord knows my heart, BFD. Who cares what anyone else says?
