a long tiome ago in Times i think there was an artical about gentic mutation where they fromed or is working on a small tiger that was a cat. do you know what this cat is called or where i can find it?

Are you thinking of the breed of cats called a Toyger?

It's a domestic cat, not a tiger, and it's a fairly new breed. Expensive too. TICA approved it recently for showing at cat shows. They still mostly look like mackeral striped tabbies, but they've been working on the vertical striping and the sectioning on the tail marks.

You are probably talking about a Bengal cat though! They are great cats and absolutely beautiful! Here are some good sites!

These cats are called Bengal Cats. They are a beautiful breed. My sister in law has one. You need to get them from private breeders in your area. Here is a link to the bengal cat website. www.bengalcat.com Good luck on your search. I hope this helps!!
