This quote from the first article stood out to me the most
"ADL's report, released on April 24, states that white supremacists, skinheads, and other extremist groups are using the immigration debate to incite violence against Latinos, regardless of status, around the country."
Well why exactly am I asking this? Well not to long ago another user posted a similar question ( talking about hate crimes against LEGAL hispanics) and one person answered "They knew they were looking for trouble when they came here. They got what was coming to them". I'll get bashed if I name names so I'll just say this.....if I were to ever see her in person I would have some "colorful" words for her.

La Raza doesn't lynch people in fact they've had Whites & Blacks speak @ their meetings ..comparing the two is an extremely weak argument

It shouldn't be surprising....it's these bogus justifications that have been used as justifications for violence in many countries over the centuries.

That is definitely not okay. These certain individuals and groups are going to mess with the wrong Hispanic and start riots, revolutions, wars, and mess up a lot of peoples life's for their stupidity. I'm definitely going to pass this information on to everyone i know and try not to get revenge on Innocent white people i see unless they deserve it. plus i know there are some secret plans in the works to do something somehow to these individuals and groups before karma gets them. I cant help but feel I'm not doing enough and should be doing something since someone right now is doing some mental and physical pain and damage even death to a person of color and using the anger against illegal immigrants from some of the country to attack any Hispanic that they think is an illegal immigrant.

First of all Alexandria, you probably didn't put your picture up for a reason so stop criticizing other people! See some people have no education, including the KKK. It is exactly these remarks that I have heard over and over on YA. Then they call me a racist because I defend myself and Latinos! Whatever! Do you expect me to keep quiet while you freely bash us? If it were the other way around you would be peeved too! So stop hating! See what hatred creates! This is what I have been trying to tell you people all along. Racists don't care about your legal status! They just look at your skin or your language because their ignorance has them living in such a narrow world! So when are you going to realize that?

I'm an anti, but not because of race issues, culture, etc. To me it's the economical aspect of illegal immigration that has me worried, I'm also Hispanic and no for this anti it's definitely not alright. NO ONE in this country can detain someone they suspect is an illegal alien unless they are caught "red handed." You cannot simply say this person did it if you or someone else did not see the crime. I said something similar to someone last time...if someone even tried to put their hands on me because they thought I was an illegal alien I would knock them out. They have no right to do that. Obviously, racists like the KKK, skinheads, etc will use this issue to further their agendas.

No, it is not OK when extremist groups like the KKK or La Raza Unida piggyback on legitimate issues like immigration policy.
It is also not OK when laws are enacted in America, where we have a gaurantee of equal protection under the law, that grant different protections to some citizens based upon thier race.

Violence is never the answer to any problem.
My husband grew up in communist Hungary and his very ol dest friends (50 plus years) father was hung by the government during the revolution of 1956.
Unless you have witnessed violence, people shouldn't be advocating it. they don't know how truly destructive it is and they have to live with the quilt afterwards.

Anti social people aren't suddenly going to grow manners.
However, the skinhead types aren't the ones driving policy.
Obviously, those legally here have to be protected.

This "question" has nothing to do with what this site is about.
If someone knew "they were looking for trouble", report them, and ignore their posts.
Why are you bringing it up again, to keep alive the hatred and racism??
And why do you have to mention "antis"?? Are you trying to insinuate that antis are racist?
Your post borders on racism itself. There are racists on both sides of the issue. Being against illegal aliens does not make one racist.

No one should be above the law. Illegal aliens are breaking the law, why is that so hard to understand but I don't agree with violence toward anyone. We pay law enforcement for a reason, they understand and enforce the law.

It is so sad, when others can not accept their brothers and sisters as is suppose to be, I AM ILLEGAL MYSELF, and coming from a country where we accept anybody regarless their status, races, or anything, USA still can not abolish all the racist behaviors going on in this land.
